He is one of the hottest and most sought after DJs around and now Kam Shafaati is making his debut in New Zealand.
The Melbourne-based spinner will appear at URGE on Friday, August 17 before flying to Christchurch and playing at Dux Live on Saturday, August 18.
Kam made the news recently as he was picked to play at one of the biggest gigs in the world – Real Bad XXIV in San Francisco.
Since starting his career in 2009, Kam has played at some of the biggest Australian dance parties - including Beyond, Inquisition, Midsumma T Dance, BearNation, Bear Essentials, Bear Pride, White Wolf, Trough X, FUR, Tropical Fruits, and a rare two-year turn at the mother of all Aussie parties, Sydney Mardi Gras. His live magic has even started to span the globe with a 2010 performance at San Francisco’s mammoth Bearracuda Magnum during Folsom Street Fair Weekend.
Added to that, his podcasts have over 10,000 listeners a month.
It really is an honour to have him come to URGE to make his premiere Auckland appearance.
Tickets are a bargain $10 and are available on the night only – first come, first served. See what all the fuss is about as Kam is going to go truly global soon!
