Greetings [NAME],
we hope that you are well and full of the joys of Spring. We are still recovering from a MASSIVE party night on Saturday to celebrate our fourth anniversary of owning URGE. It was a great turn out and we truly appreciate your support.

This month has been dedicated OUTLine October month in aid of the ailing GLBT support network. Gay businesses across the country are coming together to raise cash for OUTLine and we will be fund raising through our Slave Auction on October 10, as well as our Underware Party (details below). Any support would be wonderful.

Other news – we welcome back Grant from his travels and he will be behind the bar this weekend. Underware Party tickets are available from this Thursday. $10 each with $5 from every ticket going to OUTLine. You don’t want to miss out!! Also thanks to everyone who supported our Blue September charity drive for Prostate Cancer, we are still counting the cash and will let you know how much we raised soon.

OUTLine October at URGE:

Friday October 2: Furry Friday – monthly meeting of the Bears where we will announce details of the first ever bears week in NZ!! Music from DJ Sparkle. Doors open early at 8pm.

Thursday Oct 8: October Quiz Night – Doors open at earlier time of 7pm. $5 a team

Sat Oct 10: Slave Auction in aid of OUTLine. We have some sexy slaves and top auction items for you to bid on. This is a fantastic night for a worthy cause. Music from DJ Donald Bennett. Auction starts at 10.30pm with the bid items on the website soon.

Thurs Oct 15: LEGIT Tatts by Jordan. Jordan, who is the Artist behind the new murals at Urge, is also a talented Tattoo Drawing artist. Come in and see his designs. Buy one of his drawings or get him to draw you one specifically for you.

Sat Oct 17: Naughty Boys and Bad Bears dance party with DJ Ant.

Sun Oct 25: Underware Party. It's been ages since our last Underware Party so what better way to start spring then a night in your undies with lots of hot men about. DJ Mauri will be spinning the discs. $10 door charge but it’s worth it – also $5 from each ticket will go to OUTLine!

Sat Oct 31: Celebrate Halloween the URGE way with a DJ Raj’s Dark & Twisted Night.

The winner of this month’s $50 bar tab is….Peter Lambe. You can collect the voucher from the bar anytime during October.

Coming up in November: URGE turns 12!! The granddaddy of the Auckland gay scene celebrates another birthday on November 28. We will be partying big on the night. Music from DJs Mauri and Ant.
